PTT PHILIPPINES CORPORATION (PTTPC), [formerly Subic Bay Distribution, Inc. (SBDI)] is one of the wholly owned subsidiary companies in the Philippines of Petroleum Authority of Thailand Public Company Limited (PTTPLC). The Petroleum Authority of Thailand is a state-owned corporation and is the largest oil company in Thailand. It is the market leader in both retail and commercial sales. Its subsidiaries operate in various energy fields.

PTTPC (formerly SBDI) was incorporated in 1996 (under its original name, SBDI) as a Joint-Venture Company between The Coastal Corporation of USA (now known as El Paso Energy Corporation) and the Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTTPLC). In 2003, PTTPLC bought the shares of El Paso Energy Corporation in the Subic Bay Joint Venture companies thereby increasing its percentage shareholding in SBDI from 50% to 100%. A few months later, SBDI merged with PTT Philippines, Inc. (PTTPI), another existing PTTPLC subsidiary engaged in petroleum retail activities in the Philippines – with SBDI as the surviving entity, to undertake both distribution and retail activities. In February 2006, towards aligning its name with that of its parent company PTTPLC, and to strengthen PTTPLC over-all presence, image and corporate identity in the Philippines, SBDI changed its name to PTT Philippines Corporation (PTTPC).

PTTPC is tasked to sell petroleum products into the Philippine domestic market and is leasing the storage facilities in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Clark Special Economic Zone and Mactan Cebu.

Petroleum products are imported by the affiliate company PTT PHILIPPINES TRADING CORPORATION (PTTTC) [formerly Subic Bay Fuels Company, Inc.] sourced through its Singapore Trading Office and from its refineries in Thailand and other refineries in Asia. The Subic Terminal can accommodate large tankers, which translates to competitive landed cost of products. We also maintain internationally accepted quality standards for all petroleum products including high grade Jet A-1.
